Why Donate to First Tee – Northwest Arkansas?
At First Tee – NWA our mission is to build a community of Game Changers out of youth in NWA using the game of golf. We strive to reach as many kids as possible, including those in our underserved communities, and offer an easy and affordable way for kids to experience the game of golf who might not otherwise get that opportunity. We are more than a golf facility, however, because we center all of our teaching and programming around nine core values that we are instilling in our youth so they have life long skills and values that they can take with them into the future.
Where Does My Donation Go?
100% of the funds we raise at First Tee – NWA stay right here in our community and directly benefit the youth of Northwest Arkansas. Throughout the year we will run special campaigns and raise money for specific events, however, we have continual fundraising efforts that support the following:
- Character Development Mobile Unit Program
- Scholarship Fund & Financial Aid
Donations made that are not designated to a specific fund will be applied to our area of greatest need at that time.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, the youth of Northwest Arkansas are able to participate in our curriculum that introduces leadership skills and character development through the game of golf – regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
